About
I solve problems with code. Sometimes without any code at all.
How it started
My first job was telemarketing. At a company party, I saw my chance and pitched the owner for a spot in IT. Next week, I was there. Fixing computers, headsets, dialers.
I finished months of backlog in two weeks. Had time to spare. With my first paycheck, I bought my first PC. But no internet at home. So I bought rewritable CDs, downloaded every programming tutorial I could find at work, burned them (around 3,000 tutorials of everything), took them home, and studied all night.
It worked. Left that job for my first role as a webmaster, running an entire school's web system. Alone. At 18.
Now
20 years later, still solving problems. Developer, tech lead, CTO, founder, teacher. Built products, rescued projects, taught thousands.
I prefer small teams with real ownership over big teams with politics. I'd rather say no to the wrong project than deliver something I don't believe in.
Outside of code
Married. Father of a 2-year-old daughter who thinks my keyboard is a toy and calls my laptop 'work'. Living in Florianópolis.
I read a lot. Not just tech. Theology, business, personal development, psychology. I study the Bible daily. My faith shapes how I work: with integrity, serving others, doing what's right even when no one is watching.
What do I want people to think after working with me? That I actually lived what I said I believed.
